How to Decorate a Christmas Tree
Here are some helpful hints for decorating your Christmas tree:
- Begin at the very top of the tree with a strand of lights fastening the tip of the string of lights to the tree (you need to do this so it won’t move and to light up your treetop decoration).
- Place the strand of lights around the tree and arrange them on in a circular pattern around the tree heading towards the bottom of the tree (this is where you can add additional strings of lights and attach them together so as to create a very long stringof lights).
- The next step is to add garland (this could be ribbon to match your color scheme, a string of pearls, fruit strung together or homemade chains of craft paper).
- Hang each individual ornament or Christmas ball at intermittent levels around the tree making sure all empty areas are covered.
- Top your tree with an angel, star, Santa Claus, or any symbol of Christmas you like.
- The base of the Christmas tree should be embellished with a tree skirt or even colorful wrapping paper.
