Craftsmanship was good. There was a severe lack of communication, hopefully that will change. Once a large portion of the money was in their hands, progress slowed down immensely. Project was 15 days over contracted time. I strongly recommend adding a penalty clause in the contract for overage. I also recommend stipulating a schedule for work to be done & stipulate in contract that you expect them in house when subs are on the premises. I would also be prepared to do your own clean up & provide your own tools for their use. I had high hopes & expectations for these individuals & in the end I was very let down in regards to personal integrity.
