I am considering putting in soapstone counters after reading info at http://www.kitchen-counter-tops.net, but I would still like to put in decorative tile backsplash with contrasting colored tiles. But since this is my first time doing tile, I am nervous about messing up those expensive counters. I was thinking about printing out this article and practicing on the wall above the stove, before attempting the area above the new counters. I'm not sure how it will look when it is finished, but at least I'll have fun tiling half of the kitchen! Thanks for the great, easy to follow article!
