Outdoor Design and Construction, Inc. was started in 2004 to allow me flexibility in my schedule. After graduating with a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture in 1991, I began working in the landscape construction field in the Chicagoland area. I love the trade, which allows me to work with my hands, work with plants and other materials, and help people solve their outdoor problems. Within my 16 years of working in the industry, I have designed, managed, and supervised projects that have ranged from small residential jobs to multi-million dollar apartment complexes. I use subcontractors for some aspects of special jobs (complete irrigation, large scale tree removal, major concrete work, etc.).
