Laminate installation starts at $1.25 s/f and hardwood installation starts at $ 1.75 s/f. Materials cost anywhere from $ 1.99 s/f to $ 4.50 s/f. Our main specialties are hardwood floors and inlays. Many people install hardwood floors and don't exercise all the proper procedures prior to installation. We only use cleats vs. staple fasteners for the installation to prevent squeaks. We also test the wood and the job site for moisture, and use 15 lbs roofing paper for the underlayment. We allow the wood to sit at the job site for 48 hrs prior to installation.
